This brush is made from goat hair only (belly and tail). Though it is soft and difficult to controll, modulated lines are easilly drawn and it has good watercolors containment. Small and extra small are used for Japanese-style paint Saishiki (coloring) like Sokumyo. Large size brushes are used for larger pieces, black ink paint, and calligraphy.
